MEET ANDERSON VALLEY RESERVE

Hue,Kubi & Ryder

Anderson Valley Reserve is a group of small farmers based in the greater Anderson Valley region of southern Mendocino County. Our roots and commitment to cannabis cultivation and culture run deep. Some of us have been growing cannabis since the 1970s & some are 2nd generation farmers. We are united by our dedication to growing quality craft cannabis, practicing environmental stewardship and supporting our community. And we firmly believe in the medicinal power of cannabis.
Our current offerings come from two of our farms: Jelly Rancher (aka Hella Jelly) from Hungry Hollow Farm and Lollipop from Kub von Farms.
Kubi Hucek of Kub von Farms is a second generation farmer with over 30 years of experience growing this magical plant. Born & raised in the remote hills of Mendocino, he learned his craft as a teenager working alongside his mom, who taught him a strong work ethic and stewardship for the land. Kubi is proud to carry on the traditions of the OG ‘back to the land’ homesteaders, who were the foundation of modern cannabis culture. Kubi is also an experienced breeder and Lollipop is one of his original strains.
Hue Freeman of Hungry Hollow Farm is a legacy famer, who has been growing cannabis for
over 44 years. In 1978, he grew his first patch in Mountain Ranch, CA - back in the days when cannabis had to be camouflaged from helicopters by growing it under the brush. Like many OG growers, in 1980 he was rewarded for his efforts with an extended stay in the Calaveras County Hilton. He moved to Philo in 2000 and found cultivating in coastal Anderson Valley much to his - and his plants - liking. Ryder Wooten joined the farm in 2016, bringing his experience and expertise in natural farming techniques. Together they share passion a for cannabis which is reflected in their commitment to quality and craft.
